Zach Wenner

Inventor

With a background in international development, Zach has focused on understanding and empowering individuals across a number of geographies. He brings this same curiosity to ?What If!, where he seeks to unlock key insights in the context of dynamic systems and changing environments. During his time at ?What If!, Zach’s work has spanned industries, and included a deep dive into the energy sector in both the US and Europe.

Before ?What If!, Zach worked at the intersection of impact investing, public policy and development finance. Based out of Washington DC and Eastern Europe, he managed cross-sector projects in international markets, structured new financial products, and developed multi-stakeholder research initiatives for social impact. He earned his MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a BA from Dartmouth College.

Zach is at his best when learning from and supporting multidisciplinary teams. And when he’s not working, he’s usually outdoors or taking up way too much space in a coffee shop. He is particularly talented at pretending to be a hiking guide among friends and getting his entire group lost.
