Reece Soltani

Inventor

If you were to ask Reece’s friends what she was like as a child, they would say things like rebellious, contagiously energetic, and constantly asking “but why?” Not much has changed as Reece still brings that spirit to her role as an Inventor at ?What If!, pushing her clients to think big and unearth deep human problems.

Prior to joining ?What If!, Reece’s career focused on issues related to poverty alleviation. She built products, programs, and services addressing the challenges vulnerable families must navigate every day. She’s also helped build start-ups in Silicon Valley, had a short stint with the World Health Organization in Copenhagen, and led innovation for AARP’s food security team in Washington, DC.

When Reece isn’t busy coming up with big ideas, she’s salsa dancing, hunting down live music venues, and planning for the next country she can write about in her travel blog. She’s particularly passionate about her side hustle: Ambassador to Ladies Get Paid, a women’s organization focused on closing the wage gap, where she teaches women negotiation skills that will help them get that raise!

The ?! moment I’ve felt the most Love:On my second day I was lucky enough to join ?What If!’s Method Behind the Magic, a two-day immersive adventure in our people philosophy, our approach to solving problems through experimentation, and introduction into what makes ?What Iffers! so unique. During that session we covered Our Four Energies –physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual. It struck me in that moment that the Love that permeates through this company is real, where we allow people to bring their whole selves to work every day.
