Claire Charnock

Senior Inventor

Claire’s interest lies in human-centric innovation. A flair for understanding why people do the things they do has taken her from the past – where she spent time as a History undergrad – and into the future-facing world of innovation. Whilst at ?What If! Claire has worked on innovation challenges for a range of clients, from FMCGs to financial service companies. She is in her element when coming up with meaningful client experiences and brings lightness and fun to all the projects she works on.

Claire began her career at a start-up in Buenos Aires, before moving into the charity sector and working at Macmillan Cancer Support. Her time with Macmillan taught her the importance of bringing a degree of irreverence to any serious challenge.

Outside of work, Claire spends her time moving from one obsession to another. The current flavour of the month is ‘painting’. Do not watch this space.

The ?! moment I’ve had the greatest Adventure:
I was facilitating a transformation session with a leading toy company in a castle in Cologne. The group embraced the ?What If! way, donning fancy dress– complete with beard-glitter and capes – whilst planning how to implement their 5 year plan.
