Chirag Patel

Foundation Inventor

With a background in architecture, Chirag has worked on array of projects ranging from a ‘Willy Wonka’ themed garden at Chelsea Flower Show to a trampoline park inside an abandoned Victorian theatre.

Interested in how strategic and design thinking can be a force for good in people’s everyday lives, Chirag joined ?What If! to broaden his understanding of how to implement this.

Prior to joining ?What If! Chirag completed a masters in architecture at Central Saint Martins. There he was able to interrogate his own creative process, using his masters as a platform to work on a number of projects with external partners. This included developing a public realm strategy in Kensington, producing workshop evaluations for the Museum of London and helping write Lewisham’s London Borough of Culture bid.

Outside of work, Chirag enjoys painting badly and cooking reasonably well.
