Nell Van Amerongen
As an Inventor at ?What If!, Nell pursues her passion for understanding human intricacies and the “why” behind consumer behavior in industries ranging from financial services to healthcare. She blends her love for uncovering human insights with her background in crafting compelling narratives to develop solutions that truly move the needle for our clients. Recently, she has focused on future-proofing a global pharmaceutical firm’s business facing threats from newly emerging competition and developing new insurance solutions designed for millennial consumers.
Prior to joining the ?What If! team, Nell led investor relations and marketing for an investment firm, where she paired her background in working closely with clients with her love of developing persuasive, data-driven narratives. Most recently, she brought her keen eye for detail and interest in storytelling to the strategy team at a global branding consultancy. Nell earned her MBA from Columbia Business School.
Despite being a native New Yorker, Nell still loves exploring the city by foot. She’s an avid podcast listener, a Murakami fan, and, as a former Princeton in Asia Fellow, always on the lookout for new Northern Thai restaurants.
